Back for more, eh?

Great heavens! After a hiatus that followed a hiatus that followed a weak start, this blog/site/experiment/whatever is back again. And by 'again' I mean 'again, again'. "What the fuck?!?!", you must be saying.

I've been wanting to re-launch this site and continue the design experiment for some time now and finally I am able to do it. I'm hoping to have this site be a mix of a blog and maybe something more. The only problem right now it I'm sure what that something more is. What I really want to do is create very frequent blog-type postings, but with a (don't know how else to put this) high-quality, magazine-like refinement. I want to be able to not just include a picture or two in the posts, but make photographs and artwork part of the experience of reading posts and this entire site.

I guess to me it seems like there is some sort of disconnect. RSS feeds are fine, I guess. Twitter is OK, I suppose. I use neither of them. I keep having this longing for those voices out there in the world crafting a message and inspiring people and not doing it with the users' font of choice in some reader or within 140 characters - if that's even possible. I'm hoping to change that if for no one else but me. I'm hoping to bring back the experiment, the inspiration. I hope that anybody reading this enjoys the idea of this site as much as I do.
